Bangladesh’s
printing industry is at a transformative stage, driven by the country’s
expanding textile, apparel, packaging, retail, and e-commerce sectors. With an
estimated market size of around Tk 4,000 crore (≈ USD 460 million) and
approximately 7,000 printing houses, the sector is gradually modernizing,
adopting advanced technologies, and moving toward high-value segments. Textile
printing, including screen, rotary, digital, and sublimation methods, remains
the largest segment, fueled by the country’s booming apparel export market.
Screen printing continues to serve textiles, signage, and promotional products,
while digital printing is expanding rapidly in commercial, packaging, and
textile applications, reflecting a CAGR of around 11%. Label printing, used
extensively in FMCG, pharmaceutical, and packaging industries, is growing at a
CAGR of 12–13%. Bangladesh’s printing industry offers a dynamic and
